Mama Update: (Day 38) Determined

This update from Wayne Kitchens:

Short update on Bonnie Spencer Kitchens. We are in almost 5 1/2 weeks since the stroke. She continues to improve every day. Starting new therapies and continuing the therapies that were already in place. She is a busy young lady most days. As we have mentioned before, the doctors, therapists, nurses, and everyone else we have come in contact with at this facility have been nothing short of amazing! She has come from not being able to make a sound to saying if a few words and singing, and writing. She insists on helping all she can when getting dressed, including picking out what she is going to wear that day. She feeds herself,( and WILL let you know if there is something that she doesn’t like ), she is walking further and faster every session, with assistance from the therapists, playing games… and winning, doing puzzles and SO MUCH more. She is working hard and determined to do all that she can do to get better!! Thank you all so much for your continued thoughts and prayers.
