A Pearl of Great Value Starts as an Irritating Piece of Sand

A word of encouragement today: don’t give up!

You may feel like you are irritating people with your questions and ideas. And maybe you are. But maybe you are also the irritant, the tiny piece of sand, that creates the environment for valuable change to occur. In order for the pearl of great price to be realized, there had to be something initializing and catalyzing the change.

And before you start patting yourself on the back, no one wears sand necklaces. They wear pearls. That’s because it takes a team to create the jewel. The oyster by itself is just a delicious sea mollusk, and the sand on the seashore is so readily available that it has almost no value alone. But mix a tiny piece of sand with a healthy oyster, and you have the potential for incredible value.

So, don’t give up.
And work together.
I’m sure something of beauty and value will be created.
